Bi-monthly VAT newsletter containing easy-to-read summaries of everything newsworthy that has occured in the world of VAT in the previous two months. The newsletter is aimed primarily at accountants and solicitors, but will also be of interest to small and medium-sized businesses, as well as charities.
The front page always covers a key VAT issue in the period, and is followed by the 'Latest VAT News' section, which outlines recent HMRC announcements on VAT policy and law. The 'In Focus' section features an article on a topical subject, whilst 'VAT cases' summarises VAT Tribunal and court decisions that are either interesting in nature, or are important to know about in terms of how it might affect other businesses. The 'VAT Tips' section on the back page always features at least one article on reducing compliance costs, increasing VAT recovery, or better ways of dealing with HMRC. Occasionally, an opportunity for a VAT refund might be outlined.
The price is an annual subscription covering six issues.
